    Snowmobile Insurance

They do the same with Bikes/trikes. You have to insure for the full year. Now for bikes, you can go to just comp when not in use.

    Vilas goodness!

Thanks for the reply. While it is not necessarily raised, it sure looks like it could have been rail and the twisties are not that extreme. It sure is a great trail though.

Hey, Pete, isn't most of that an old narrow gauge RR that was built to haul lumber? At least that's what I heard. It is also my favorite.

    Vilas goodness!

Yes! It seems most traffic loves ER/St Germain west and north. Hardly any traffic straight east of ER. The problem is getting thru ER. Trail 70 is closed on the Bo-Boen [St Germain] side. If I want to go to/thru ER from St Germain, I usually take the north route that comes out between ER...

You are correct. I've never seen that trail in bad shape, seems to always be groomed.

    Vilas goodness!

There have been times I have had 60-80 sleds go by the house after dark up to 10PMN. Usually don't have any after that unless it's a group staying in the addition.

    Vilas goodness!

Indy, you might have gone right by my house. I live on the south east corner of Big St Germain lake. The trail goes down the street about a half mile and then up to the junction to Sayner or Eagle River.

    Catalyst Demo Riders Please Respond!

Me, too, as there were many riders there both days. On Saturday I know there was a waiting line to take a ride. You had to sign up and then received a time that you would take the test run. Talked to one guy and he had over a 2 hour wait so maybe, as there were a lot of people, not many...

3 Old Guys Ride to Alaska

I lived in Langdon at the time. I had as dual parish of Langdon and Munich. I met the second group while they were eating, asked if I could run with them, and then hurried home to get ready. Just as I was pulling away from the house, they were already on their way. Took me a few miles...

    Groomer drag set too deep?

Might be because Lando gets more snow. That's just about the right area where the snow changes. I live on the SW corner of Big St Germain lake. Just across the lake and up the hill about a half mile or so, they have been known to have 30-40" more snow than I have. I figured that was the LES...

3 Old Guys Ride to Alaska

Some years back, 40ish something guys went from the Sioux to Alaska. There were 3 groups. They just so happened to come right through town where I lived in North Dakota. I missed the first group but did put some miles on with the second two. ND DNR groomed a "special" trail straight west of...
