If you have an "in," old conveyor belting works great. Not as good as the Caliber's, but will certainly get you by.

I meant an extra charge for a trail permit, sorry. After all, if mtn sleds want to run trails and tear them up, then they should pay a little more, with all monies going to clubs. t was just a thought.

I have run with, and been behind mountain sleds, and yes, they do tear up the trails. Personally, I think anything above 1.5" lugs should be prohibited from trails [exception: to get from one spot to another, but don't know how you police that]. [Maybe a surcharge for sleds with deep lugs.]

Talked to my dealer yesterday who said there are no 900's available-----all sold out. He said don't expect to see any until next year. As for me, I'll take the 900 Turbo but would settle for a 900.

Sure wish I had my 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler.---429SCJ w/2 4bbl carbs, hurst 4 speed. I could still get rubber in 4th gear. Only 1631 were built and only 341 with that engine. Only 13 were built like mine. I miss that car. Built for NASCAR right off the showroom floor with few changes...

Agree with you, Pete. It is very thin here and not much for snow [according to the weatherman] until Monday night-----maybe! What we have is powder and not much. Only good thing, it's cold, so lakes, swamps and trails will freeze up. They are making ice at the track and it is looking good...

Vilas County to open trails @ 8AM on the 27th per Sno-Eagles. Got an e-mail from them and it's on their FB.

Hey, guys, we have a little snow. It was wishful thinking. Now they are saying little to know precip for Christmas week. Hopefully lakes and swamps now have a chance to freeze up.

Just got word that Sno-Eagles checking trails Saturday morning. Lots of trees down all over in this area. I had power out for over 10 hours. Wouldn't expect trails to open until next week---hopefully Monday.

Sorry for the mix-up on the 13th. as stated above, it is the earliest they will open. Blame my dyslexia.
