That trip I took 12 years ago, I was on an 05 xc 500 and my dad on a 99 xc 700. He got 8-9 mpg and I got 10-11, and the oil lights came on around 150 miles. Definitely got worrisome at times riding in that area.

Lot of work needed and not much urgency to repair with no businesses or destinations in the loop. Was a fun loop, but let’s be honest, it only got ridden because people got sick of the railroad grade.

Used Sled prices are down compared to last year that’s a fact. Problem is good deals are gone in 2 seconds.
