There used to be a sign on US 41 prior to entering Houghton that read: You are now breathing the freshest cleanest air on earth. Not sure what ever happened to it, but, I remember it & I have seen postcards with a picture of that sign, I believe some shops in Copper Harbor sold them at one time.

I Googled "zero turn mower cut leaving strips", you should check it out. Brian is pretty spot on with his diagnosis. Sometimes it's better to let the dealer inspect, adjust & do annual maintenance. They do pick up & deliver too.

There are a number of places I would recommend. Suomi is definitely one, Lindells & Slims Cafe are others, all of which have great breakfast food & great service. However, the question imposed is, "what's your favorite place?" Copper Range Depot happens to be my favorite.

Copper Range Depot in Houghton. Wide variety of breakfast foods to choose from. Excellent service, excellent food. I agree with hermi, breakfast food anywhere is not as reasonably priced as it use to be.
