01 Polaris 700 Classic clutch

My son is working on his sled trying to remove the clutch. He has a puller (borrowed) that was used on 99 pol 500 classic. He said taper on the puller is too big or there is a bushing in there that won't come out. Does it take a different puller? Original clutch, has never been off. Can it be rebuilt on the sled? Doing this over the phone so that's about all the info I have.

Thanks Trailshred, Indy! Son called me late last night said got it rebuilt on the sled. Stopping by the dealer today on the way out to ride and p/u the right puller. Get out and ride before it's gone!!!!
