09 apex ltx suspension install

Having trouble getting front holes to line up. Suspension holes are about 1-2 in. in front of tunnel holes. Suspension arms hitting on rivets so I can't raise into position. New to Yamaha, never had trouble with Polaris.

Take a rachet strap and compress suspension install the front first. Release the strap slowly stop when the rear lines up .

Otherwise put the parking brake on, tip sled on its side and put a bar in a track clip opening and pry the suspension into place. A little crude but effective. Worked for me for 35 years.

I ended up unbolting frt. limiter strap tipping on side putting frt. bolts in then rear. Worked well.Saw tip with pics on ty

best way I know is bolt in fr arm first rear in the air then tighten rear axle until it starts to collapse rear arm then u can make micro adjustment on axle until holes align . real ez by your self
