Darren, those boulders are right up against the concrete, the siding doesn’t touch them, it may look like it does because I painted the concrete the same color as the siding. Also the siding is fiber cement board and it’s all sealed on each end to keep moisture out. The attached pic shows it better. Hope that explains things better.Would love to see about a foot or more up on that roof.
I have to ask. how tight are those boulders to your siding. Looks real close in the pics and I'm thinking that's gonna suck painting around them or worse trap moisture on the siding. I'm sure you've got it figured out but I'm curiousl
