Going to put a Rox Pivot Riser on my 04 Polaris Edge. I am 5'-8" tall. Want to be able to ride trails sitting comfortably but also want to be able to stand at times. I know it is really up to the individual but someone must have an opinion.

4" riser at minimum. you can use same brake and throttle cables, you may have to reroute brake cable behind the oil tank, that can be done without disconnecting the brake line.

Go 5". I have 5" on my 05 xc sp and I love it. Had to extend the handwarmer wires, and the brake line. I did the brake line myself with some $2 brake line from Fleet Farm.

Indy, he is 5' 8" and still wants to ride trails comfortably. I did 4" on my 05 switchback and it was about right and I am 5' 10".

Did you put an extension on it or replace the whole cable?

If you haven't checked this out, do it. Added one to my edge this year (I'm 5'10") and love it. it's only 3 but you can keep the bars at the same angle they are stock and it's a very nice 1 piece unit so you don't have to worry about anything slipping lose like some other kits.

I highly reccomend this.

You can always just make your own if you match up the mounting bolt holes to the stock mount. Not really all that difficult.

You might want to check this out:

Should have guessed you would come to my rescue. Felt pretty stupid after I screwed it up but apparently I cannot delete my posts. A preview feature would be nice so I can prevent myself from looking so stupid. If this doesn't work I'm really going to look dumb.
