2002 zl600 efi

My niece is looking to buy her first sled. Found a low miles 2002 ZL600 efi. Any words of wisdom out there? Thanks in advance for your help.

I use to have a 01 zl600 EFI ESR. It was a good first sled. Only problem I ever had was my knees would kill me as they bounced off of the seat/gas tank area so much cause the seat was so wide. 2010 F6 SP solved that.

Pretty rock solid sleds occasional stator issues otherwise no problems whatsoever.

they fix that in 2000. 98-99 wa the problem one

solid motor and will rail trails just as good if not better than the modern rider forward stuff. and stay warm doing it.
u can clean up rear transfers on the jugs and shave 10 tho off the head still run 87 no efi mods and it will rock

Is it the one on CL out of Wausau? It looks good in the ad if it is.

How old is your niece? Should be a good first sled unless she is just starting out at 12, a lightweight and a little timid, but as long as she hangs on it will be fine and could last her a long time too. We're still riding a 500efi and works just fine for almost everywhere we go.

My niece is a young adult and not timid. Yes it was on cl Wausau and yes she bought it. So now I have to have that dreaded Uncle/Niece talk-Artic Blue or Artic Cat VES oil!!!It will be Artic Cat recommended oil.Period.
