gotta change out the track on my buddies 07 f1000. Is it as easy as a poo Iq or do I have to pull the chain case, and if so whats the dimond drive all about? Isnt just like all the others just loosen up the chain, pull the gear, and bearings and it comes out? any advice would be helpful. Ive change may tracks just not on a newer cat.

ez stuff I can do it buy my self in less than 1 hr 1st inset socket with extensions in to driver on break side pull bolt out that is holding driver to DD prob 3 extensions.
then keep caliper and disk together and just pull nuts from back side of assembly tunnel track side.
then I find it the most ez to pull out the DD but you can bitch piss and moan and not pull it .
I would pull it less than 15 min to pull remember there is a nut hiding under rubber bumper between dd and bulk head so pull rubber stopper thing out.and the speedo sensor wire unplug is in the foot well just a bit of wiggling it will come out and you can un plug.
now it is out pull it apart and inspect the 5 pinion planetary that is the week link and it will go out at some point prob 100 mi from the trailer.
1st time prob 2.5 hr after 1st time 2 guys 50min

No lie on the extensions.... better start snaping them together ahead of time, make sure you have enough.... ( LOL )

Ezra.... too funny " prob 100 miles from the trailer ".....
