I bought a 2007 Renegade X 600 SDI Two years ago with 4000 miles, It now has 6300 miles on it. I have done all the general maintenance on it, cleaned the clutches, changed the slides, chain case oil kept it greased, belts.. Etc... It runs perfect and I have never had any issues other than a new voltage regulator and a new battery. I have two trips planned up north this year and I expect by the end of the year to have nearly 8000 miles on it. is there
Anything at this point with this many miles I should be doing other than the regular maintenance? Thanks

Keep up the good work

Keep up the good maintainance and ride. You want to keep an eye on your compression. As that drops off (getting clos to 100#'s) you have a higher chance of breaking a ring in a port, cracking a pistion skirt, etc... There is no specific service time line on sleds. How they are maintained and cared for determines their life. I had a 93' that had 8k non service issue miles on it and I didn't change the spark plugs for the first 3000 miles (2yrs). I checked and cleaned but did not change.

Keep on doing what you're doing. It could probably use new clutch springs, but as long as you don't beat on it too bad, she should last till 10k

Compression was at 130 last year and each side was the same. You reminded me I should check this again. I had someone else tell me I should get 10k on it as well, so it looks like the rest of this year and next year till I buy a new sled, or put some money in this one.

Keep an eye on the Y-pipe for cracks (may or may not happen, mine has almost 8K and no cracks yet), make sure the Y-pipe bolts stay tight, and keep an eye on the throttle body boots for cracks/delamination (I did have to replace mine).
