Well, people pay over $25,000 for a Harley so $12,000 for a sled maybe isn't that bad, eh? For those that say "you can only ride them 3 months of the year"..... not if you live in the correct portion of the globe. It's just that fact of the matter that a greater portion of the USA is snowless in most months.

I get to take one trip per season to the U.P. It is well worth the money in order to spend the time with my dad.

Very true. Jet skis and ATVs and all the toys we love are spendy. The fun and freedom you get when riding a snowmobile is priceless not to mention the time with your friends, family, etc. I try to spend wisely most of the time, so what the heck. Can you tell I am trying to justify a new sled purchase??

You almost have me convinced to go out and buy a new sled.

Yep and with wider running boards and they don't extend all the way to the tail end of the tunnel either like they used to. Only thing I don't like so much is the wider ski stance. I changed the ski stance on my '09 Renegade to a summit ski stance and now I buying a summit thats almost as wide as my Renegade was before changing it. HUH!!
