I noticed during break-in that I getting 15-15.5 mpg, after the break-in oil was gone, the mileage dropped to around 12 and did not change to much, anyone else have this happen??

I've had a Rush each year since they came out. The '10 used very little oil, the same with the '11, & the '12 is running around 90:1, and at times a little leaner on oil. I think it is just about as lean on oil as the etec.

My wife’s Adventure has a little over 1900 miles on it now. The oil mileages varies greatly with the conditions. In warm sticky deep snow conditions it’s around 125 miles per quart. On cold hard packed days the oil mileages was as high as around 170 miles per quart. The same goes with the gas mileage, anywhere from 10 to 15. What you are riding on and the temperatures makes a huge difference with her sled.

How you guy's like those adventurer's it caught my eye when they came out but figured I'd wait till they got the bug's worked out before buying 1, actually I'm hoping they come out with a 4-stroke model after having 1 I don't think I'd want antoher 2-stoke.

No new 4s from Poo & does not look like they want to promote 4s at this time.:( AC sold 4s 1100s 3 for 2 every Poo 600 2s according to Snowtech Mag. Might want to take a look at Cat 4s 1100 Cross Tour new sled for 2013 loaded with all the stuff a trail rider wants & 2nd year of new platform 1100 4s been around for years. Trend going towards 4s for trail riders again according to Snowtech so don't shoot the messenger.:)

No bugs to be worked out of the Adventure, awesome sled. You will never go wrong with the Poo 600, very reliable and proven engine! My oil consumption was so low rp7x is worried it's going to melt down. I never actually measured how much oil it used, but it wasn't much more than my buddies 600 etech. It's all due to the new EPA standards. Maybe soon we will be using algae instead of oil, huh Barack?

I only checked mileage during the first few hundred miles, so never checked it once it was broken in. The best I got was 12.5, but I like to use the fun button!

I love everything about mine - handling, ride, fuel/oil consumption for a semi-D 2s. Only downfall is I want a 3 or 4cyl 4s under the hood so I don't have to keep trading in at 5000mi. :(
