I have a 15 800 rmk I snow checked last year and I ride out of Albany. Had 10-60 weights in it last year and put 950 miles on it out there last year. I think I changed plugs after the first few tanks of fuel after it come out of break in mode cause I was told break in makes it run richer? I put 10-58 in it this year and it ran great with them when I was out over Christmas . Think I got a little more rpms with the lighter weights too. I am heading back out Tuesday and they are supposed to get dumped on will see how it runs this time. Where did you buy the sled from? That dealer should check it out for you without charging you since it was the first time you rode it. Some dealers aren't very nice if you didn't buy there which sucks.

in one of the magazines i get it said to seal the exhaust between the sled and can with high temp rtv. exhaust gas can back up into the intake.

U should do that on all deep snow sleds. I stick a light under hood turn off shop lights and look for gaps and seal them all with black rtv.
not sure why cats muffler exit out top of shock well did not stick . not perfect but deff better than on the bottom of a sled .

I am from Lacrosse WI but drove like 3.5 hrs into Iowa to get it last March. Got it at Country Side Turf and Timber in Iowa Falls. It was a left over snow check sled but that is too far away to take for service...

Ahhhhhhh.........Welllllllllll........In my hurry to start it this early winter when I got it out of storage.......Shouldn't say this but........ I had covered the exhaust with duct tape, (which I now know I didn't need to do to prevent a mouse from going in there) and 4 got to remove it when I started it.........Maybe I made an exhaust leak...Going to check that....Thanks...
