2017 Switchback SP - anyone ridden one?

Like the title said, wondering if anyone has ridden one. Snowtech raves about the new rear suspension but they need to eat too. Is it that much better on trail? Are the shocks decent? I think the shocks are the main difference between the SP and the Assault. Does the 600 in the SP use enough oil? I think it's the electric oil pump so not adjustable. Seems like on hcs, on the previous 600 in the Indy's, people were getting bigger snowflaps to keep the temps down and changing oil tank caps and adjusting oil pumps to get it to use enough oil. Is that all behind them now with the SB SP in the newer chassis?

Hoosier, I've sold a few of these already and the customers absolutely love them. They're using more oil than the older 600's and dependability is there for this motor. The shocks are working out very well. Just like a long wheel base pickup it will bridge the bumps better and yes, ride will be better. Hope this helps you Hoosier. The sled is great bang for the buck!

The electric pump is not adjustable and I have yet to hear 1 hiccup with the new system. My axys 800 uses a lot of oil, more than my pro did with 3 turns on the pump... nothing to worry about there. The oil cap on the axys chassis returned to being mounted flat and not at an angle so imo a better vented cap is not needed like before. I hope polaris puts the HO light crank, powervalves, and reeds in the 600 soon, it would be a ripper!

i too am interested in this model as my next sled, seems kind of hidden and off the radar but all the articles i have read about it seem like it is a great sled, slightly stripped down version of the assault and cheaper. i have the 600 now in my '13 but am thinking i may want to go to an 800 next....the 600 is great but there are times/conditions when i would like the extra power out of the 800.

Does that engine still have that $60 fuel filter you better change every year or it gets clogged?

Sounds like they've really addressed all the issues that people bring up about them, real or not
