Just want to let you all know that the new Yamaha is coming to our dealership March 26th which is a Saturday. Unfortunately we will not be able to ride it but at least you'll get to see what it's all about and how it's built!!! Please join us if you can:)

Kip is Yamaha concerned that SW HP would be a handful for the general public that are not use to all that HP? So look but not demo ride policy?

No I don't think they are worried about that a bit, why would they build it otherwise, I'm confused a bit? The sled won't be for everybody. Correct, look but no ride Pete.

Don't worry I'll be looking on March 29th at all the SWs. :) Are you going to be at Wausau Sneak Peak?

For those that live in Lower Michigan there will be a sneak peek at the Delta Plex in Grand Rapids on Monday the 21st of March from 4:00--9:00pm.

Yamaha-Ski-Doo -Polaris will have sleds on display. From what I have read Yamaha will have a Sidewinder at the the show and Ski-Doo will have their 850 etec there as well.

I saw on the latest Sled Head 24-7 last night that they named the Sidewinder the best groomed trail sled of the year for 2017.

Kip knows me and knows I'm not here to start a pissing contest...but how on earth can a sled with no consumer use be named the best groomed trail sled? This same "best X X sled" issue (when none have been in the hands of consumers) has been going on for years though.

I agree groomerdriver. This is somewhat strange?????????? I had heard the clutches were not even in final tune as yet.

I think this same thing has happened many times in the past. I can't think of an instance but I'm pretty sure it's happened. Didn't some rag name the 2014 (15?) Viper as the best sled of the "X"? :(

I'm sure it's going to be a nice sled!

Unless Yamaha is allowing you dealerships to offer $2000 off MSRP on a spring order, this is a poor intro for this sled.
With the deep discounts that ALL 4 mannies offered the past few months on over produced 2015 and 2016's, most will hold out for next seasons bargain-o-rama.
