The Chargers did what every team wants to do against Green Bay

Four on the defensive line , don’t blitz , and drop everyone back against the running backs and wide receivers

And the Chargers had three Defensive starters out

Damn good Defense

On the flip side

Everyone was raving about the Packers Defense after game one against the Bears

If that Defense isn’t getting turnovers , a few sacks , they are average at best , below average

And then go against any decent Quarterback like Rivers , **** Stafford was up and down the field all day , but couldn’t put it in the end one

Man , they better hope they don’t ever see Drew Brees this year or next

Yeah, well, boo hoo to the Bears. But I think perhaps the Pack thought the Chargers were going to be a easy over? Just didn't work out that way!

Vikes and Cousins have a chance to make themselves legit this week.....let’s see which QB and team shows up!

I didn't say they couldn't adjust, and beat Carolina. I think they will, and beat them. I just feel the Pack was a little over confident going up against the Chargers. I think the Pack has a chance to go all the way this year. They will have to be at their best to do so.

They are legit. Nice win on the road. They stopped Elliott but could not stop the passing game. I didn't realize the Cowboys had the #1 offense in the league. Their offensive coordinator looks like a senior in high school. How old is he? He has to be the youngest coordinator in the league. Man is Delvyn Cook awesome! Best all around back in the league right now IMO. The defense is going to have to get better defending the pass if they hope to do much in the playoffs, assuming they make them. You never know with the Vikes. Good weekend for a Minnesota football fan, the Gophers look for real! I love their coach.

Mspease....that’s the victory that the Vikes and Cousins needed, might just get them over the hump. It was a heck of a game, especially after the pillow fight between Lions and Bears. They have Seahawks in Seattle and Pack in Minnesota left, rest of their schedule is very winnable. Pack still control their destiny and looking pretty good.
As far as the Gophers, congrats on a great win! I am an Illini alumni and fan and we have been in football **** for way too long, looks like the Illini will get a bowl game this year (like a December 19th game :)) which is a huge success for that program.

My prediction..... In this Bears thread.

Mitch T will be a respectable QB for years to come....with the bears or another team.

He is getting in tune with everything that it takes.

Trouble with Mitch when he’s cold he’s ice cold can’t get anything going run or pass. Then suddenly he gets in a rhythm hits his targets puts up points then goes cold again. The Bear defense can keep them in a game to a point but not endless 3 and outs. Bears not making playoffs this year it’s the Vikings and Packs year.

whitedust I still say the overall team play, offense, defense, the whole team play rests with the coaching?

Coaching is important but wen you see Rogers, Wilson , Prescott and others lay the ball on receivers on the run it just makes Mitch look horrible when he overthrows open receivers on the run with nothing but grass to the end zone. Good QBs make a coach look good greases all the wheels O and D.

Bears vs Rams is going to be a good matchup for all the wrong reasons! At the beginning of the season this was to be a playoff preview, now its a must win for both teams just to make the playoffs. Both teams are playing very similar this year... and that's poorly. Jared Goff, if he continues to play as he is, is turning into a payday bust.....110 million guaranteed ! Lots of injuries on the Rams side and the Bears actually have a descent chance at pulling one out. Its very possible both teams do not make the playoffs. Vikes at home should take care of business, Pack on bye week.

Rams vs Bears...spread is 6.5 for Rams...ill take the Rams to win and cover the spread.
Vikes vs Denver...spread is 10.5...ill take the Vikes to win and cover the spread.
Detroit vs Dallas..... spread is 4.5.....i am picking dallas to win and cover the spread.

I agree with you except Bears / Rams pick.

I don't think either team will score more than 10 points so covering 6.5 is difficult.
Looks like a 10-6 ball game to me.

Anyone that quit watching the Vikings/Broncos game at halftime missed one of the most exciting second halves I have seen in a while! Wow, unreal comeback. The Vikes sure did lay an egg in the first half and looked like they were ready to head out on their bye week. They looked like a high school team at best in first half and they could have quit but showed a lot in the second half. No excuse for that first half though. Can't do that in this league.

WOW is right! For anyone who missed the stat, that's the first time in 100 games, that a team came back from a 20+ point deficit at half time.
