Humorous how you were pulling people's chains....people take things so literally around here. "Bill Nichols starts and ends at exactly X spot on trail 3, not 100 feet past, or 1/2 mile, and it's ALL inside the gray area". Who cares

Jesus - relax people. Take a chill pill

I also know that I can ride on it too.....some of it....and all the rest surrounding it....hows that

I think you are giving him too much credit. In his post #50 he claims you can ride part of it and all around it. In all actuality you can ride all of Bill Nichols trail. And almost none around it (legally) as it is bordered mostly by private property. So I think he is still thinking it's in the Ottawa.

I'm not sure he's pulling people's chains.
I think its Humorous that he can't admit that he's wrong. Now your giving him a way out, and he's jumping on the bus.

If people listened to him, we could have more landowner issues from people trespassing. He is telling people that you can ride the land "all around the Bill Nichols", because it's in the Ottawa Forest. That is false, and we can't let it stand without correcting it.

See post 66 I tried pointing it out specifically that Bill Nichols is bordered mostly by private property.

And it's not in the gray area (per the map he referenced which was of the Ottawa National Forest) Everyone should care, if we (snowmobilers) don't want more black eyes over trespassing issues.

You guys are going apoplectic, and are on course for an aneurysm. Nobody going to arrest you and impound your sled for riding a trail on Apr. 12th in the UP. I'd BET my life on it.

I agree you probably not get a ticket riding TRAILS april 12.
But Your missing the point of the last couple posts by damage and I.
It's riding all around the Bill Nichols on private property that we are trying to head off. It's bad enough in season, my guess is landowners would be even more dismayed if it happened after March 30.
I know I'm not going to get an aneurysm. Its not getting my blood boiling, but want to preserve the sport and make sure people have proper information before they head out..

Read more carefully. He is talking about riding the land AROUND the trail, which is trespassing. And nobody is going apoplectic, and my blood pressure is fine. I don't know how you read that much emotion into typed words.
