x2, nobody has answered the question yet!

I'm not sure why you guys think that see most of the highest hp sleds factory are right there at 150 hp. In 03 I bought a new 145 hp RX1 and could get 3500 on original belt. Mr Freeze put 8200 miles in 3 months using 2 belts. These ultra high hp sleds hook up fast when the revs pin. Belt failure happens when the power is put to the track with strong resistance to forward movement. The Yami sleds I watched that were high HP hooked up fast before the belt ever had a chance to smoke. I would say the belts will fail much sooner on these race sleds compared to stock but I cannot see why they wouldn't hook up. I have no doubt they could get the hp now seeing what I have been seeing. It's no hoax

Most of your belt problem is from starting your sled after siting around outside all night and just haming it glazen the belt maken it git hoter from sliping. SHOULD get the track in the air and braap it a time or two to warm the belt under little to no load. IMO

I dont get that great a life out of a belt but I change them when I see its time. I blew my first belt this year. I knew it was shot and was being lazy. I am in and out the gas riden in the treees so I dont think I will ever get 3500 miles but my old Apex (trail riden days) had the original belt (not the original plugs and dounuts) when I sold it with 2571 miles on it. So I knew where Lenny is comen from.

Here is a 2 stroke making some incredible horsepower. I used to run with tommy on lake simcoe back in the 80`s when he was still riding a formula. I guess he really caught the speed bug!
