I used one LY and did not like it for the money spent.
cold and too much noise. after 3 rides. J9 (wife) returned hers to the dealer for refund. I continued to use mine for the year, had issue with the plug in heated shield. dealer replaced under warranty. they don't make the helmet anymore.

I bought a new carbon 509 last year and a new carbon HMK
The HMK I like a lot better than the 509 and as said the 509 is cold so I only wear on warm spring days in April currently.
Remember all of our heads are different and this is only my opinion...I most likely would not buy 509 helmet again but have and like all my 509 goggles and have a lot of them.
