Aluminum polishers

The only problem with Mothers is you will go through it too fast because you have to use quite a bit to get results and Mothers is just a polish so it doesn't seal the surface when you are finished. Another thing with Mothers is it keeps smearing black and you have to use flour to get the stuff off. I have seen the same thing with Wizards.

You will definitely be impressed with the results from White Diamond and how easy it is to use. With lasting results.

WOW you guys have some time on your hands, lol. After all that work you should try some sharkskin. it seals the finish. watched a friend polish the logs on his pontoon (5 days of his life) and then applied sharkskin when he was done. Now he pulls it out of the water and wipes it down, holds its shine

I did mine with mothers, started with the power ball and ended up using the buffer. After I was done I said I will never do that again and mine did not come out nearly as nice as some of yours did.

Looks great twodeere! Nice sled as well, I am picking up my 2010 switchback 800 tomorrow. In what order did you apply the mothers/flitz and what did you use to apply it? This is my drinking beer project in the garage tomorrow and saturday night. Thanks

Thanks. I used the Mothers cone for the larger areas and an old sock and elbow grease for the rest. Could have probably saved the $20 on the cone though and just applied by hand. A couple old t-shirts were also sacrificed. Final polish was with a micro fiber cloth and a good coat of Ice brand wax after that. Did 2-3 coats of polish. I experimented with the Mothers and Flitz to see which one worked better. Seemed about the same. Total time was approx. 5-6 hours spread out over a weeks time. Don't forget the bumbers and front tie rods on those Polaris's.

Harvest, Is that sled in your house?

Based on the pics.. I might have to vote for Never dull.. but in the end, a light abrasive, and elbow grease...
Harvest's sled is VERY SHINY.. although I don't think the picture is as good as TwoDeere.... although they both look awesome.

I do not think it really matters what you use. It just takes time this can be a discussion like oil. I did like the Gords now I just use the never dull to shine it up more. I just need to clean it up more now have some gords all over.

Did not see that question thats the garage just got bored and wanted to look good since I spend alot of time out there. Just put some paint on the walls, trim and did the floor with rustoleum.
