It is not democrats infiltrating the Republican party it is the Libertarian and Constitution parties infiltrating. They would prefer to get into office as third party candidates, but they realize that we have the 2 party system here and their love for this country is so strong that they are doing what it takes.
The republican party has a great, bottom up platform, but it is not followed and is run from the top down. Do you remember the 2008 convention, we tried to bind elected republicans to the republican platform? They said, no way. Do you recall, then we tried to bind them to the U.S. Constitution? And they rejected that as well. At any rate those two incidences should tell you that this isn't the Democratic party infiltrating.
