Oh I used to watch it back when $70-80 bucks a month was the norm for 200 channels of nothing to watch. You are not missing much. I wish I could get airwave reception, but when you live down by the river in a van such as me you get held hostage by the "Dish squad" or equivelant. lol Note Chef Ramsey and his shows are now on fox local, same hollering with a different "vehicle" to get the job done.......... selling advertising. to me the BEST REALITY TV Show on the air now is DEADLIEST CATCH and this soap opera song and dance can't stand a chance to them . Paul Sr changed after he got married and he started pushing his kids away . He is going to regret it one day big time After all the money in the world you can't replace your famliy and family to me comes first Sr needs to get some help in the family field

since the digital intro and we got the converter boxes hooked up, we have way more channels than ever,....there is a potential for alot more but most channels were claimed and remain unused, in fact the 2 local PBS stations gave back 4 of the 10 channels they originaly claimed......probly found them too costly to hang on to.
I was 1/2 joking about the chopper builders....caught a few episodes over the years of motellin during sled trips....

You have a valid point about the the fortune they did make over the 5 or so years prior to building the new shop and showroom. What many of you have not thought about is the fact that the entire custom bike industry crashed about 3 years back and as of yet, none of them have recovered.
I have a close friend that owns a motorcycle parts liquidation company. The entire industry is hurting including OCC. In the past few years he has taken tens of millions of dollars worth of inventory out of several major motorcycle companies for pennies!! Harley Davidson, Big Dog, American Iron Horse, Custom Chrome, Tucker Rocky and the list grows daily.
OCC is not on this list yet, but they have contacted him about what he has done for these other much larger companies. I guess just feeling out their options if the industry doesn't rebound soon. They took on a huge amount of overhead when they built that new building, and they moved in less than a year before the bottom fell out of the custom chopper industry. I hope they stay afloat and make it. They make a good product, but times are bad....

I wouldn't say the show is doomed. It is good entertainment for the people that don't know the difference between choppers and baggers!
However you are correct. Baggers are far more popular right now than choppers!!
Plus, don't forget that OCC's take for each new episode shown is probably somewhere in the vicinity of $150,000. So each week a new episode runs, they make 150K or almost 2/3rds of a million a month. Not to mention all the money they are making selling their sunglasses, hats, t-shirts, etc...
The bottom line is nice bikes or not, the snow made OCC what it is. Businesses got in line to have them build a bike so that they could have a 60 or even 120 minute commercial for their company. As long as that keeps happening, OCC will be building custom theme bikes.

In all this drama, I can only imagine how Mrs. Teutel feels. To be stuck in the middle of a feud (if real) between your husband and your sons has to be gut wrenching. Unfortunately, I think I've only seen her on one or two episodes and I don't think we'll see much more of her. Same can be said for Sr's mom.
if it was not for the Hollywood writers strike we would not have to be enduring so much of this so called reality TV crap.really how many times can you watch some guy say now I hope I don't miss a shift now the truck could slide backwards.or some drunken ***** falling down and arguing I watch this crap for 5 min and want to claw my eyes out.oh I cant wait to get home tonight Paul Sr and Paul Jr are going to get in a fight and mike is going to pull a practical joke god I hope I get home in time or my week will be ruined.and the only wife swap I ever saw for more than 5 min and thought was funny was the Dave chappelle wife swap skit now that was good TV.
