well in my case yrs some of my buds just ended up getting divorced over it very true 2 of them . but really better off with out nagging wife any way . life is to short to only live a life someone else wants u to live and busts your hump when every time U do something for your self . I have 3 guys I know who literally quit ridding because of there wife .W T F? but then I am convinced they like it that way and spend time in the corner of the bedroom 1 night a week in a dipper being scolded for ever thing they did that did not live up to her expectations .
just shoot me .

My wife calls herself a "winter widow" LOL she is great. Did I mention I way outkicked my coverage on her as well!! Glad you got a good one Dan. Ezra I completely relate to what you are saying about buds and nagging wives. Used to have to tell guys the group was to big couldn't come along. Now its tough to find 2 other people to head north... Life is to short!!

I was on the other end of this last winter. I interrupted it for riding, just didn't resume. Things sometimes just aren't meant to be!

Now get your rear to the jewelry store for your lady! lol

Thanks all, I needed a good chuckle! I bought an Aprilia Tuono this summer, wife said I had to give up one of my sled trips as a concession. I think all things considered, 1 sled trip for a brand new bike is not too bad. She might not be perfect, but I think I can live with that.

What do you think, did I get off easy?

My wife is my riding buddy. Ten years and having a great time. Guess I got lucky and found a wife that likes riding sleds.

I use to ride with my wife all the time . she was good could keep pace with the boys boys in there late 20s early 30s have u . brisk pace to say the least lol .after she wrecked kind of bad was never the same . she wont ever ride 1/2 the pace she once did and really not that in to it she will ride a hand full of days and be good . we go on trips she brings her XC skis and rides a day and takes the next to go out in the woods ski and take picks and then ride the next if there is no spa where we are staying . the up needs a resort with a spa lol .
I blame top heavy underpowered 4 strokes . why I still have a bad taste in my mouth of 4 strokes . frigging 660

I hear what you are saying. I fractured C6,C7 in auto accident back in '07. I still find myself backing off the throttle on the grades. Usually, I am bringing up the rear when it comes to trail riding. But now I enjoy the scenery more than I did before '07.

My wife would love a spa in the UP. There is a massage therapist(Tami) in Calumet that will drive up to CH or LLB. I try and get the wife a couple treatments per trip.

Two years ago my wife cracked a rib when she wreck while driving my sled. She was back riding 10 days after. Tough woman for sure. We for sure have slowed down a bit from years ago.
