Agree, gone !! But unfortunately the 3 stooges will keep there jobs!! They will continue to keep bringing old washed up players back for peanuts . Its a business and you can see they are not that concerned about win/loss record or any kind of playoff run .Follow the paper trail of proven players they have got rid of because of $$ . just so that the books are not in the red.all tckets are sold and the beer and hot dog trucks load them up each week!Management happy! This will a long time before we ever see a 8-8 team again!

Amen. I wanted them gone last year with the Favre deal already so yesterday has only added to it. I agree he would have been killed if he was back there too, just like Rogers is. Maybe those clowns can go and get in Gruden, Favre can retire and be the quarterback coach or something, and then the stars can be back into alignment. Suprised the vikes haven't already locked up the NFC north.

They were ready to run him out of town (fans and the media).

I still don't think he's that good of a coach..he does however have a good front office in minnesota. If the vikings were 4-4 and lost to the packers (both games)..chilly would have been run out of town on hot rails, and you know it!!!

Minnesota fans are the most fair weather fans in the world in every sport(not just football)..sorry but it's the truth...if the vikings go on a losing streak, and miss the playoffs..watch what happens..the stands by the last game of the season the stands will be empty. I HAVE SEEN IT BEFORE IN MINNESOTA!!! Back in 1988 they had a twins suck weekend on a local rock station in mpls (they were in last place), and they were giving away vikings tickets...however, the year before the twins won the world series..I never saw anything like that, how do fans turn on their teams in one year??? Only in minnesota. In fact in the early 90's several vikings games would have been blacked out if not for general mills buying up the empty seat tickets...say what you will about the packers..but that has never happened in green bay....Just saying, minnesota fans are fickle and have short memories..one only has to go to the star tribune website and dig up old viking stories from last season to catch what I'm saying...now everybody in minnesota is on the vikings/brett favre bandwagon...what's gonna happen when you hit a few bumps in the road?? Trust me you will, us packer fans have been there with favre before...ya think we don't know???

BTW I love how all the vikings fans called packer fans classless for booing favre...yet these same people refered to him as Butt Fart two years ago...really?? LMAO!! Now he's a hero cause he's in purple?? really?? what changed???

It sure sounds to me like a lot of you Packer fans have turned on your team too, it's not a phenomonon only with Viking fans. Talk about short memories, you were 13-3 just a season and a half ago and now you want everyone fired! If you think we are the only fans that jump on and off bandwagons around the country, you're wrong. It happens all over the place. I will give most Packer fans credit, they are very loyal, but then again, you have nothing else over there! Oops, I forgot, you have Old Milwaukee beer.

The Vikes ruined my football season for the last time in 1977. Since then I have been a Cowboys fan. It is the same every year in MN. The bandwagon keeps growing and growing right up to the inevitable pukathon. Then everybody involved should be killed or fired. It happens every year. The Vikes also have the worst radio personality in Paul Allen. He is so incredibly over the top it is embarrassing to even have a MN address. At least the Pack and the Bears have some Championships to their names.

Jeeze..old mule water??? who drinks that?? I thought only minnesotans did..don't blame ya..schafer beer(minnesota wheat beer) is pretty bad.

13-3??? The only winning record MM has had...they have been poor otherwise...and the personal moves the past few years have many fans irked. This is just the shizz finally hitting the fan.

I do like the fact that you have a nice outdoor stadium for baseball next year, and think the gophers new stadium is really nice (even nicer with that empty Paul bunyon axe case down in the lobby..lol)

BTW how about those timberwolves??? (lost to the lowly bucks this weekend...now that is sad)

grub, you went from being a Vikings fan to the most hated team in the league besides the Packers? OUCH. I can honestly say I hate the Cowgirls more than the Packers ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. I myself am not a bandwagoneer......Go Vikings!!

I'm not a fair weather fan, I still stand behind the Packers and there still the team I'll be rooting for next weekend and the weekend after that even though it doesn't look good down the stretch. But bad coaching and bad management is taking what could be a good team right out of it. There a young and talented team. With some good tough hearted coaching and a couple of veteran O lineman I think they could pull things together. Changes need to be made and it has to start right at the top!

You ViQueens fans need to understand one harsh reality.....Brett Favre will not carry you through to the NFC Championship and beyond without a serious blunder along the way. This guy has a serious habit of making the big mistake when the pressure is really on. Reference the fumble/INT game against Pittsburg. There is a reason this guy hasn't been to a SuperBowl since 1998. This guy will rip your heart out with the dumbest play imaginable, come January, so be ready. Resting all your hopes on a 40 yr. old QB that's at about 60% of his prime is a recipe for disaster. If you want references, go back to the NFC Championship game, our 13 & 3 season and look at the play that ended it all for the Packers in OT. When the pressure is really on, this guy turns into the biggest moron QB in the game.

Fusion..I wouldn't go that far..calling favre a moron...but for the most part you hit the nail on the head..favre has wore down the last 3 seasons..it seemed like when we got to december ..he had nothing left...he was done.

I guess we'll see what he does with the queens come december...but he is what he is, and at 40 yrs old, I think he will struggle again in december.

BTW Chad...with all the lions friends I have, I hope the packers win thanksgiving day..I know you want them to as well...but the lions fans I know are making that game into their suber bowl..and right now after watching GB fall to TB, they are salivating!

I agree with you guys on Favre, I just hope they can sit him for most of not all of a few games through the end of the year, so he does have something left in the tank. Guess us Internet Monday Morning QB's will have to wait and see......

Favre has made some bad mistakes come late in the season but the big difference this year is that it's hard to get to him to put the pressure on plus he's inside now and weather wont be much of a factor. Time will tell.

You Pecker fans need to understand one harsh reality.....Aaron Rodgers will not carry you through to the NFC Championship and beyond without a serious blunder along the way. Oh wait, he and the Peckers have already blundered. Never mind...
