I have over 750 miles this season on my new to me MXZ TNT and while not a lot of miles for some it's about spending precious and memorable time with great friends and family each and every ride and being able to come back safe and sound to do it all again the next weekend!

I'm Happy that sleds have progressed through the years
with Great stability and awesome suspensions.
While getting ready for a vintage ride this upcoming weekend,
driving around the yard on a boggie-wheeled 72 Nordic,......
almost tipped over twice.
Snowmobiling,...
ALWAYS A SMILE!
)

Wife and I rode 300 miles last weekend out of Land O Lakes in a day and a half. Trails in UP were very flat. A little snirt but very much worth the trip.

My wife has become a great sledding partner.

Got a new toy in the toy shed. Retired the RMK and picked up a Snowhawk. Let me just say that the backcountry will never be the same. This thing is a blast to ride!!!

come on greg, we need more than that, give us some details on how it is riding one of those things, can you go anywhere you used to go

how about some riding pics?

everytime I see one of those things I want one

Even though I lost a cylinder and melted a piston I still got a 1000 miles in so far!!! And have a back up sled. Focus on the positives!
Call out any half friends and make them respond.

My wife went for her first ride today in over a year. She had a disc replaced in her neck May 2007... the smile on her face when she was suiting up to ride and when she got back is more than words can say. Great Day

We drove up to Christmas, MI for our first ride on groomed trails. Incredibly beautiful day! Trail 7 was rough, really rough. 417 was fantastic! I am thrilled, we are thrilled!
We're heading back out soon!

Revman, thanks for grounding us.. Every trip I have made new friends. I typically fly solo and link up with people I meet along the way. I posted on the ride board and had no problem finding people with common interests.
BTW, after 4 years of fighting an issue with my older sled, my landscaper figured out the carb issue. I now have two sleds that run great! My son and I were able to go out riding last weekend, that is what this sport is all about to me....

Just got back from a week in Vilas county and did a saddlebag trip thru Iron, Ashland and Bayfield counties. Trip was awesome!! All the trails were great! Vilas County has done an exceptional job with their trails this year. I am just amazed what they can do with minimal snow. 900 miles for the week!!! Probably one of the best snowmobile trips I have ever had. I am very fortunate that my husband and I love to do this together!!

Good call on starting this revman

I got two good ones from this weekend. On Saturday I took my wife on an eighty mile cross country loop (that’s the best that I’ve ridden in north IA in years, been a great year hear). This is her first year ridding and this is the most that she’s ridden in one stretch. We both had a blast. If she keeps this up I’ll have to take her North!!!! My hats off to the guys in Winnebago Co. IA that put that trail together.

On Sunday I took my three year old daughter out in the hay field for a quick spin on the Sxr. Well she didn’t want to quit and the quick spin turned into an hour long ride, and we never left an eighty acre field!! The smile on her face and the giggles going over the drifts just kept me going. It was just about the most fun I’ve ever had on a sled!!!

Just remember, “Don’t take life to seriously, you’ll never get out alive.”

Keep on ridding and keep smiling!!!

Another great weekend...last one for most that were here...good load up conversation this morning.....funny stories of everyone’s year of riding. Can't beat it when you're standing next to a guy leaving a day early cause of suspension issues, he didn't care has all summer to fix it and all he can talk about is what a great time he had and can't wait to come back next year

A member of our club put over 2000 miles on her new 2010 Cat and she is 70!! Yes she still rides with the best of them doing 200 miles a day! We also have a couple in our club that are over 70 and they too put on over 2000 miles this year on their 2005 Polaris' with each sled having at 10,000 miles on them. I hope when I am that age I can put on over 2000 miles a year.

Our club put on two successful club rides in February with over 15 sleds on each ride. Everyone had a great time! Yes we had a few minor sled issues but club members brought along a backup sled for others to ride.
