Yep, we've been going to the August Michigan race since 1989. We drag the camper 500 miles to the infield and have had some of the best times of our lives there. Also go to Kansas City once in a while but stay in a motel for that one. My drivers past and present include Richard Petty, Alan Kulwicki, Davy Allison and Mark Martin. My son likes JR. I'm not a fan of Jimmie Johnson but I do respect what he has accomplished.

Talladega is always good, Michigan is my home track since I only live 2 miles from it, we usually hit both races, Bristol is a great time and Martinsville is on my list to hit next. Been Stewart fan for a few years

Been into NASCAR for as long as I can remember, used to sneak out of church as a kid to make sure I was home in time to watch the start of the races on tv, we have been to the Daytona 500, Chicagoland and Dover. Dover was the most fun yet at any race as we were lucky enough to get hot passes for the pit's. If the pits were open we could be there, practice, race time it didnt matter. We got to see Dale Sr after the Daytona 500 back in '99 and got autographed pictures from him. Got to see alot of drivers and crew chiefs and other faces at the race in Dover. I liked Richard Petty, Dale Sr, Ward Burton and have been a Kasey Kahne fan for a few years but might have to start looking for a new driver with them switching to Ford's

Watch out for Michael Waltrip at Talladega this weekend, Nascar already gave him a timeout for agressive bump drafting in practice. GO 55

YAWN, YAWN! Getting old with Jimmy winning everything. Nothing against the guy, just getting old. He is lucky to have Chad Knaus. Anybody but Jimmy.

I've really grown to love NASCAR over the past 10 years or so. Jeff Gordon is my favorite. A very close second is Mark Martin, what a great guy! I was lucky enough to spend a little time with Mark a few years ago when I flew to Arkansas and closed a $2,000,000 deal with Mark and his sister Glenda. He couldn't have been any nicer to me and I'll never forget it. Class act he is!

The wife and I have been into racing of all types over the years including NASCAR. One our all-time favs has been Mark Martin especially when he was sponsered by Cummins (Just last week I took the Valvo/Cummins #6 sticker off my truck, yep it was sentimetal). He represents what racing is all about and we are pulling for him this year.

I do have to admit we do not watch the races as often as we have in the past it just seems to "business-like" nowadays and some of the races are just like watching F1, plus I have really taken to geocaching on the weekends. We have more of a passion for the grass roots-Sat Nite type of stuff. Anyone in IL remember SantaFe Speedway....

I used to watch all the time faithfully, now it just seems kinda dull. Big money teams with big money drivers. I still watch Bristol and Talladega though.

My first NASCAR race was the Southern 500 at Darlington in 1969. I like all racing but was really a fan of open wheel. Like they say real race cars don't have doors. Went to a couple of formula 1 races when they were at Mosport up in Bowmanville, Ontario. Talledaga is a hoot! I agree with the anyone but Jimmy! MM would be nice, a class act guy.

been a fan for many years. had gone to june race in Michigan for a dozen years. the cost to go to races and be so restricted to what and where you can go at track has really changed. racing has changed with time. but dont feel for the good of the fan. its all about nothing but the big dollar now. local short track here in area is much better than the big boys. and most races on T.V. have become very boring to watch. and of course your only getting to watch about half the races. commercials get the rest of air time. got to go now, as i am out of air time.
