Hollywood is better equipped to handle the USA Ebola outbreak in Dallas than the CDC. Yeah go ahead & fly after being exposed to Ebola ....you got to be kidding!! CDC "Oh I guess we blew it she should have been grounded". YIKES.... you think so!!! We contained SARs but seem totally disorganized to stop Ebola. How much worse can this thing get???... Geezz:(

I agree, but, if you had been possibly exposed, would YOU travel across the country to infect your family?? I think I'd be hunkered down for a while.

I understand she was "cleared" but come on.

Just one more example of the state of affairs in our world today. Pick your poison, ISIS, EBOLA, Putin, or a Nuclear Iran. It makes "climate change" crowd look even more ridiculous...

The risk is low, american health system is so good, blah, blah,blah.

LMAO, yeah right. Every statement the cdc made they just disapproved with 2 nurses contracting it. Then on top of that they let nurse fly after treating patient. Unfrikenbelievable.
Hopefully their getting their s**t together now and locking this down. Holiday travel is coming fast, we'll find out fast.

Every government agency from the local dog catcher, all the way to the top clown, is full of ineptitude.
It will never get better. Not a whole lot that can be done. The people in charge are crooks and liars.
When it comes time to vote, they are our only choses.

My wife is an old school RN. Her take on this is that for starts there has been no money spent for proper attire. The masks they are using are not fine enough to keep out the virus. Also three sets of booties but no neck protection. How dumb can one possibly be? Secondly, recently trained nurses have no knowledge of proper techniques to use the protective gear. It takes more than a ten minute instructional or a video to do this right. It really is the blind leading the blind. Not a cheery situation.

I think the part that scares me the most, or certainly highlights our governments ineptitude is the fact that this nurse called the CDC. Told them she had treated an Ebola patient. Was having a mild fever, and asked if it was safe to travel on a plane? They said, as long as it is below 100.4, you're good to go. Good to go...???? Are you Fu***** kidding me?

If the CDC is in charge of keeping this contained, we're all screwed.

That is what is sooooooo pathetic we had to deal with both Anthrax & SARs + Ebola has been around since the & 70s.This outbreak has been known for months & the CDC is not ready in a big city like Dallas with procedures & equipment. I just don't know what to think? Bad guys have to be rethinking doing us harm by germ warfare we are showing weakness & reflect easy & soft targets to such misdoings. Very very scary!! :mad:
