OK Indy, I just gotta ask. Did you buy the track as a souvenier from a race sled or are you going to run it with two torn lugs? And if you're going to run it on your sled, how does the torn lugs affect performance? Kinda like a flat spot on a tire? Just wondering, I guess the price was right and glad you found what you were looking for. Have fun with the Add-ons!

I bought the track to run on my sled, will make off-trailing in the yoop a lot more fun this winter. It doesn't affect much really, its not going to make any funny noises like a flat spot in a tire would, just a tad bit less traction. The SLP exhaust sounds great! Already installed it, it gives it a nice rumble throughout from low to high rpms but doesn't get pingy on the top end like a Sno-stuff can would...

I just heard it was their best attendence in their 23 year history.

There are a few guys on vintagesleds.com that are pretty happy with the swap also.

I live about 10 miles from the show and again have had other things going on and could not make it.

My current track is missing quite a few lugs. I am surprised how little I notice it. Mine is in rough shape thought so I will be replacing it sometime this fall.

Maybe they mean less than 1000 miles on the track?

And remember, speedometers are easy to disconnect or change out with a low mile one.

An 8 year old sled that got ridden 125 miles a year? Looks really clean though. Might be legit and worth a look.

And where did the non-powervalve 500 come from? That's not what was originally in that sled.

Looks good Indy, It will hold you for another year till you go to a long track, of coarse it might get further in and stuck in deeper that you would have been with the short lug maybe you better go to a long track!!! Enjoy
