Anybody getting snow today???

So far this system has been another disappointment....we had a bit of freezing rain last night...and when I went to bed...it was snowing to beat the band...woke up to one inch...it's now raining...light rain and drizzle here in Tomahawk since 7am...not even close to the 2-4 inches nws predicted...at least so far :(

It's been all snow up this way. Probably 3" new and still snowing. Super wet and heavy and is helping to build a base.

well john...I think it's going to be another winter similar to 2001-2002 (I had over 300 inches in south range that winter)...great up there, lousy down here (30 inches below average that year..average is 52 for my area)......not much ice on superior...so I bet you guys get BIG lake effect through april...you will probably be riding into may (I know I did in 2002)

I wish we were headed to over 300" for the season! But at less than 50 so far through the first week of Jan, I am not going to hold out too much hope!

I will say, it is nice to watch it snow today and know that a good LES dumping is in our offing for next week.

Hopefully WI can get some more soon!

Ken says 3" in Sayner must have gone west of us. He wants to ride I'm like in the rain/& mist? Better to wait see if it does snow???

TWIN LAKES-been snowing here since yesterday - estimated 6 new inches so far. We've been A-OK in this area since Dec. 19th but limited radius to ride so we are happy to hear areas around us are also getting snow and that will make every one happy. Have about 18-20 inches on ground-excellent base-about 6 new inches last 2 days and still snowing. Jdee prediction is sounding promising for most or all of UP. Hooray.

Got 3 inches today and still snowing, right at the freezing mark. Headed out to ride this afternoon.

And....it's raining...the snow only last an hour and a half, and it switched back to rain...it's slushy, and mushy...when it does get cold this gonna be a mess

Yeah and we got the vintage derby going in ER. Rentals going to turn this to mud... really wet out there now.... going to be iceberg snow without freshy on top. Tuff year to make progress.
