Anybody Riding?

Saw about a dozen or so people out today, we took a short ride to Marenisco today, because we have daughter in law’s family here from Florida so took them. Grade wasn’t actually that bad some rocks but not horrible. I probably wouldn’t have been out if it wasn’t for them but good enough to show them what it’s about. And as Indy said doesn’t look good after today, it’s above freezing at 11:00pm and supposed to get rain tomorrow so that will not be good for the trails. Hope for no rain and a short warm up!
Been watching radar and temps and didn’t look that bad yesterday but looks like rain and warmer temps streaming north today and tomorrow. Good to hear you rode and a few other people as well. Might be a blessing it’s cloudy no sun to burn trails down. Not much rain in SE WI but fog yesterday was terrible our snow is gone but got a white Xmas and took the grandkids gravity sledding on Sunday.

We just came back from the western end. Sure couldn't beat the traffic volume. Saw two sleds in 100 mile ride on Saturday. Riding in the rain was interesting. It took some time to dry out the bags and gear. Conditions overall were better than expected. The rain did hammer the low cover areas but the ground is frozen. Things could improve pretty quick with some decent snow.
I have never seen so much water on top of lake ice. That was a new thing. Should make solid ice with the coming temps.
