I heard the stop signs with the white trim are optional to stop or not stop?
Ya....... me too...... are we wrong?

Yeah, I wish cars on the road would stop at all stop signs also. Slow and go, and no cops waiting for you to give you that ticket is there?
Sorry, but they don't care.
Snowmobilers are easy money!
Pass the popcorn and throw me a cold one Pat!
I stop at all stop signs. This allows me to crack a beer open at each stop. I tell you what though, from twins lakes to north of south range, I have to really pound them down.
Of course i am kidding, I don't care what others think, i stop at them all. I allow the speedsters to pass me as my mirrors on my x-fire really suck.
...He said he was being a "good guy" and only gave my bud that I flagged thru the intersection a ticket for reckless operation of a snowmobile...
...Yes of course stop means top...
Eagle River, WI - Friday Jan 27. 2 miles through town and 41 stops. What a PITA. 2 cases of beer, a smoked clutch and two belts later. But we stopped at every sign.

LOL!!! Oh, and I stopped.. it was my buddy that I signaled thru that ran the stop sign!! He said it was the only stop sign in 6 days of riding he rolled thru-- under my direction!!! I owe him beers for the rest of the season!!!
LOL Me toooooooo.....this could have gone to the preachers ....happy it didn't.LOL
I'm glad this thread came up, I needed a good laugh today.
This is probably a dumb question... but why in the snowmobile safety class do they teach you the hand signal to indicate the coast is clear? You know... where you stop at the stop sign and no vehicles are coming so you indicate that to the person behind you? Seems theoretically impossible to ever use that.
