Anyone have the Cat "Heavy Duty" skidplate on an M sled???

This weekend I nailed something and managed to put an approximately 2" X 2" hole in the plastic almost directly under the brake disc (no damage other than the plastic). I searched around on the internet and saw people talking about the heavy duty skid plate covering that area but could not find any pictures. I'm wondering if I should: a) replace that right front belly piece that goes under the brake and exhaust can area, b) if the heavy duty skid plate does cover that area just put it on and call it good, or c) all the above??? Also has anyone replaced that belly piece and is it a big deal? When I looked under there looks like lots of fasteners and the exhaust would have to come off but other than that is it pretty easy? Rather i'm not so worried about it even being sort of hard but I guess my question is is it an hour job or a 5 hour job that requires ripping half the sled apart to get all the fasteners?

Searched more and managed to find this picture of the heavy duty one (the black one). Looks like it covers the area GOOD!!! The problem for me is the low drop down in the lower left side is probably about where the damage was done on my stock piece.

I would look in to the skinz one for the M it covers part of the a arm also.it is verry thick so you do not have to worry how deep the snow is over that stump or is it a rock under that pile of snow. I think they help keep the fr end up in the real deep snow also.they are about $105 but verry nice product.and will cover your hole that I would just zip tie and permatex and call it done

The thing I don't like about the skinz one is that it does not cover the sides like where my main problem is. I have hit that area good enough to do damage twice now.

yeah I guess you are right just went out and looked it ends just before hump for brake.see now I will be having to worry about what is under that hump of snow now thanks allot
