Anyone making Ice?

I know the weekend was a little warm in the northwoods, but does anyone know of any ice on any lakes? Hopefully there is plenty of ice this year before the big snows start coming down. Thanks for any reply's

Like 50F warm lol... Not yet had some icy edges but starting over after warm monsoon & wind. Need some windless single digit nights & ice will set up.

these was ice on a few small lakes on my way to Twin Lakes a few days ago, thin, but ice. Not sure where it is now but wont take much.

My garden water can was froze up one nite.

If the 10 day outlook holds true, this week begining on Thursday night looks good to start a freeze up.

I was in Eagle River last weekend helping remove a dock. In a bay about 60 feet out had 1/2 inch of ice.

Yea I figured the warm rains took its toll, sounds like the cold is coming quick tho. I guess the one positive is it may have warmed the big lake enough to dump the mother load in the next few weeks.

Ice is in wind dropped to zero last night entire lake iced up. I hope it holds for day or 2 then we have the start we have been waiting for!

Yea it counts...ya just gota finish it before the ice is gone. Dont want to dilute the crown to much, that would almost be a sin

Just watched the weather on TV, it is -2 right now in Grand Forks, our first day below zero this year. The ice should be forming now.
