Went to doo talk to check out the 11's and figured what the heck, lets see what Cat is doing. Sure enough, the 11's website is up along with the 11's brochure.

I don't know about the lime green, or sublime green as cat puts it. Its growing on me, but I don't know if I could plunk down 11 grand and have a lime green sled for 4-5 years. Its also only available on the limited editions. I really liked 10's black hood and graphics, so that might be the direction I will be going in coming months.

Soooo.......just new paint and stickers for 2011? Wow, they certainly didnt persuade me, I was hoping to see an M or X-fire in the sno pro chassis, maybe next year?!

They say the sno pro chasis is the chizzle, but why isn't Cat pulling the trigger in offer more motor options? There has to be a problem with chasis not being big enough or strong enough to handle the torque of a bigger motor. I also would have to wonder how well sno pro would float? Its seems very narrow up front, no cubic inch of flatness under it for floating up on top of the snow, but what do I know, I'm not an engineer.

My 2 cents, for whats it worth.

I have read a lot on the race chassis. AC said there was no way an 800 motor would fit into it. That last issue of Supertrax showed a dealer who put a new 800 motor right in with the oil injection. I think it just comes down to money. They must just have so many f series to get rid of they cannot bring anything new out. Or the new motors are not ready yet. If you look Polaris is really the only manufacter that brought anything new out for next year.

the country is having money problems which gives a bleak outlook, I can understand why nothing is seriously innovative. R&D is expensive. Make do with what you know and got, could be the philosophy they have these days

I am curious to hear why you say that...........bad experience with them? Please elaborate more.........not bashing just asking?

I would say it because its an 8 year old chassis. Its time for some innovation in the those models. Not just bold new graphics and "suspension refinements" Its the oldest chassis on the market right now other than the tundras/widetracks/bravos

True, the M's are getting pretty old, the real question is, does it work? And yes, it does for sure. I guess I would rather have something that I know works, then something else that is new, but doesn't work as good. Maybe they are working on some kind of direct injection system. I guess I would rather have them make sure it is working correctly before they bring it out, unlike Polaris and their 4 injector system. :)

That being said, I think 012 will be the year that cat introduces some cool stuff. It will be their 50 year anniversary.

Yamaha pulled out of Twin Lakes this year for R&D the month of December at Park View. Anyone know of other manufacturers that did the same and their locations?

8 year old chassis........maybe the Crossfire, help me out on that one Cat guys! But the newest" Firecat chassis came out in 2007 I believe……in 2006 it was the narrow track/tunnel! So I personally don’t think 4 years is old for a style that works.

O god do you believe everything you read on the internet? Ya their numbers might be down but I hardly believe they are going anywhere!

AC is the strongest of the four sled companies - They have zero debt and have cash sitting in the bank.

If unemployment doesn't hit 20%, just wait until next year!

Suzuki pulled the money from cat. Cat was broke. I hear now suzuki pumped um full of cash and will be coming with new **** in 2012. Cat is behind, but for how long. I hate cat. Like competition. Bring it on!!

My dealer says Suzuki owns approximately 50% of Cat shares. I don't think Cat is going anywhere anytime soon.

if the m and crossfires are doing well with an older style front end why change them to something that is new and junk?
