is this a fact or your opinion? not tryin to bash cat like i have before lol but i'm just asking if it's a fact or an educated opinion. don't give me crap now please :D

It's a fact and the stock price has about tripled in value over the last 10 months.

In the link above, check the debt/equity and long term debt/equity ratios and then compare to Poo, Doo and Yamahaha.

Instead of being the top volume poster, strive to be the top quality poster.

Those that think they know everything are really annoying to those of us that do.

i was just asking a question, just the facts didn't sound right to me so i questioned it, whats wrong with the quality of that?

Yes, Bold New Graphics are nothing to get excited over, but it is not really fair to say the M series or the Crossfires are the same sleds they were in 2005. Please ride a 2005 M series and then hop on a 2010 M series, you can feel a HUGE chassis difference. There has been significant refinement over the years which make the the M-Series Chassis flat out work. Would I like a refreshed look to this chassis?....Sure thing..... but I don't want them to screw up a chassis that is the best in the Mountains.

The M and the Xfire still rock the hill why change just to change. the f yes it can go but the M is still a dominant deep snow sled. 05 was the first yr 6 yr run with minor tweaks is old? how many yrs did poo pimp out the indy-edge? find a big hill and you will always find a m at the top waving down to you

Back in 2005 my friend had a new F7 and F6 sleds they blew up the 2nd day. I rode the F7 the first day all I can say is that it was fast but handled poor in the tight corners. Then none of the Artic-Cat dealers wanted to bother to warranty it, Eagle River track side, don't have time, 3 dealers and the only dealer would bother and fix it was the dealer in Mercer.
So if you want a Artic Cat I would only buy at Mercer, the other dealers around could care less.
He switched back to Polaris he was so mad that's what he had before.
I will never own one, but I hope all 4 sled makers keep going otherwise without competition, you would have junk if you only had 1 or 2 brands.

What????so what do you think of the new 2011??

cat has alot great dealers.....poo poo has just as bad of a rep with Dealers here in mn!!and with the poo800 rebuilds not going so good, my guess is they will be switching to cat next season..I know my friend who had his 09dragon rebuild twice and now is lacking any usable power is eyeing up the 2010 163hp m8....

oh ya Ive had 03f5 went way over 6000miles trouble free...
and 06f6 that never seen a shop in 5000 miles...two of the best sleds I ever owned..

Funny to mention dealers, Chad @ M&M Powersports in Hancock was the main reason I bought my sled. He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of, and let me tell you that is one VERY busy shop. A customer's relationship with their dealer is probably a major reason a person chooses a brand; Poo, BRP, Yamaha, etc..

Good question indy..........I personally don't know the answer to your question (it looks like below that others have tried to answer it). I have no problem with you or anyone else asking a general question about any brand. Some people get all bent out of shape as soon as someone asks a question about their brand!

O boy let’s not turn this into a dealer conversation...............

But since you brought it up........I have always been a CAT rider (never owned anything else). I have done 95% of all my business with one small (well used to be small dealer) in central MN and you are correct one of the main reasons I continue to ride CAT is because of this dealer. They bend over backwards to help all of their customers.

Again I have always been a CAT rider but I am also getting sick of CAT! How many CAT dealers have gone out of business in or around the twin cities in the past 3-5 years?
Larsons in Cambridge
Blaine Hardware in Blaine
Used to be another one on hwy 65 in Ham Lake I believe it was (still a boat shop)
Tousley in White Bear Lake
Pro Sports in Anoka
Henininse in Osseo
Demermans in (not sure what city that was in off of 35)
A lot of these dealers are still in business and 3 are large dealerships so I don’t know what CAT is doing to them, that they are dropping the CAT line but CAT is doing something wrong that is pissing off a lot of dealers and in the end customers!
I am sure there is more in the twin cities that I can't think of

Pretty bad I need to travel 100 miles to a GOOD dealership!

I got two cat dealers in 10 miles of my house here in the twin cities!!one sells yamma, cat, an poo and they treat you like poo...and the other one is awesome..again what does this have to do with the 2011 line up!!

and Larson's was complaining they were not sell sleds and that was in 03 when I bought my 03 from them and they treated me like chit...treat people like chit and you wont be in business very long no matter what you sell..

There was a Cat dealer that went out of business in the Oconto area i believe. Sad thing watching all of these dealers go under.

I just wished for all that those new sleds cost they would at least give us a little choice in the colors. I need a new touring sled to replace my 2000 Pantera....sick engine...and would love to order a new Z1 LXR touring. But with all that they are asking for one, I just do not like the colors this year. Been a all Cat family for years and do like their sleds, but I just may have to try Doo this year!

What the EFFF?

Im not sure but it seems as if some folks are actually HOPING one of these manufactures goes out of business? Why? so you can brag that your Poo is better than my DOO? So a bunch of people can lose their jobs? So whole small towns can die? So we can pay 20K for new sleds? So we have less selection? so local dealers go bankrupt? This brand loyalty thing is absolulty ridiculous and nothing more than a product of people getting suckerd into good marketing. They all make an awesome sled and they all make a complete piece of garbage almost every year. They all have models in the past that were fast/slow/reliable/unreliable/awesome/junk
I would be real careful about what you wish for if your one of those that hope another manu goes under.

Anyways, That lime green might look pretty sweet once you see it on the snow. just sayin

Nothing to shocking from Cat this year and, well, that isn't all that shocking.

Give them another year of tuning and tweaking the SnoPro chassis and then you will likely see it's useage expanded. Maybe to include some version of that chassis replacing the "old" and "outdated" M and XF sleds as well as the F-series sleds.

The new 800HO has been a good runner so far. Produces almost equal hp and is much closer to EPA regs than the 1000. Those two facts, combined with the 1000cc motor not receiving any updates this year, leads me to believe we are nearing the end of the 1000cc option.

I do not like the looks of the LE sleds this year and am glad I got the all black CF LE in 2010!

A lot of people say that the old and outdated M series sleds need to be replaced but they still flat out get the job done. They work as good or even better than some of the new chassis. In an era of razor thin profit margins it doesn't necessarily make sense to scrap a chassis that works just to try a new one in an effort to keep up with the Jones's.

Speaking of Dealer/Manufacturer relationships..

I had heard that Waldochs in Forest Lake, MN quit carrying Doo because Doo said they demanded that he move his business in what they thought was a better location which was to be next to the highway. He told them he wasn't moving and with that he gave them all the crap back. Now he sells only Yamaha sleds, wheelers, bikes, etc....as well as John Deere and what not.

I thought it was crazy to hear that Doo would demand such a thing of a dealer that has been around for years and years.
