Arctic Cat oil usage tool

I bought a oil injection usage tool for $55. I wanted to make sure my pump was working after a complete tear down of it because I thought it was sticking at idle and not closing all the way. well after figuring out how the oiler works there is a point at which it may seem the oiler lever is sticking, but if you rotate your engine over by rotating the clutch by hand, make sure you have it off so it does not start. You will come to a point where the lever will close every time. It is a cam , pin cut out thing in the pump causing this and it is normal. Anyhow you hook the oil usage tool up as shown and run the engine at idle 1850 rpm, then you run the engine for 3 mins. and it should use so many CC's or ml's of oil with the lever at idle position on the oiler, then you wire the oil lever only (detach it from your throttle linkage) to the wide open mark on the oiler lever then run it for 2 mins. after lengthening the oiler rod 2 full turns giving it less oil it still was right in the middle on the oil usage specs in the arctic cat manual. You do not have to spend $55 dollars just go on ebay and order a pipette ($10 -$15) is what they are called. one that will hold 25ml is fine. you should have increments of 1 or 2 ml so you can read the usage accurately enough and be able to hook a hose to it.

these are specs out of the manual

there should be a sticky in tech for all brands for quality tech tips. and this should be in the arctic cat tech tips sticky
THNX.
I also think the tech stickys should only be allowed posting access by mods so they dont get filled with junk just tech.
