Artic Cat Recall

FYI-

We just returned from the Keweenaw and put 580 miles on a 2010 F5. I checked the weld area often, and saw no problems. Now its off to the dealer for the fix as the recall parts are in. I wasn't going to cancell our trip and everything worked out great.

Shoelessjoe hit it right on the head. My local dealer said the same thing and the parts are on order. The safety bulletin is just for the addition of a bracket to strengthen the a-arm. I don't think it is a reason to keep from riding, but something to keep an eye on...just think of the riding you've allready done on the sled w/o any issues. If there's fresh pow...go get it.

Took my F-570 to the dealer today to have the parts put on. It is quick & easy. It didn't have any signs of cracking with about 1400 miles on it. But thought I should get it done soon to be safe.

So has anyone gotten their sled fixed yet? I'm going on week #3 of my local dealer not even having the parts yet.

Really need my sled fixed already so I can go up north with family next weekend.
