back button

Good morning John. Is it just me? Lately I hit the back button and my computer goes back two frames. In the regular group discussion it is not a problem because I can go up to the top of the postings and backtrack using the link sequence. I read your current journal this morning and every time I looked at your pictures I had to use the back button and then re-enter the journal.

Your house looks beautiful.

Been happening to me for a couple weeks also. Many times when I "back" out of a discussion board post it brings me back to the main "General Discussion Board" screen and I have to enter again. Seems like more than 2 frames. Happens every time so not sure if closing and starting over helps.

X3 Gary. I thought it was just me and my lack of computer wisdom, or maybe my bad computer voo-doo. at any rate tired of going back to the "enter here" page for the discussion board.
:) Not tired enough though to get off the website.

It does not do it for me, so I would tend to think it is browser related. I will see if Paul can check to make sure I did not change a setting on the board I was not suppose to, but have not been into the meat of the settings for a while.

As far as the rest of the site, I also do not have it happen. I wonder if perhaps there was an automatic browser upgrade that is now causing it to happen for those it is happening to?

Any computer experts out there...feel free to chime in!

Check to see if your computer has Internet Explorer 11 installed. If it does, that's the problem.

Go to the Discussion Board Home Page and click on "tools" on the menu bar.
Click on "Compatibility View settings"
Click "Add", then "Close".

That should take care of it.

IE 11 is causing havoc for those who let their computers update automatically.

Worked! At least on a couple tests after doing this.

Thanks Dave.

I'm on my second I pad in four weeks. The first one did it all the time, and not just this site. It also had trouble down loading. Our I/T dept gave me this new pad and just this site does it maybe 30% of the time? Any thoughts? It seems to do it more while using Verizon, than wi fi

IE 11, as I said before, is causing this issue with many websites. If you have trouble with any site that normally works fine, try the same thing.
