Bag for your gear

Each person in my family has a plastic bin for their gear in my family. Stacks and stores easily. Each person even has their own color. The Milwaukee bags I have bought, zipper broke first time using. I wanted the Ogio for gear bag when flying. I can also use it for my scuba equipment. Yes, there are cheaper, but the way I over stuff bags, the lifetime warranty may come in handy.

LMAO This place cracks me up. Why do we need a pole? Are we voting on what the OP needs to buy to transport his stuff? Why do we always need to agree? The OP asked for OPINIONS on bags.

gear bags are the only way to go.
them plastic totes are harder to grab and crack in the cold. not to mention take up way to much space.
i got my gear bag at the milw. snow show 14 years ago. everything i ride with goes in it. no rips. no broke zippers. the thing is flawless and I think it cost 20 bucks.

Polls don't bring agreement just tells you what is being widely used. Who said anything about agreement? Maybe OP didn't think about using plastic bins he didn't know? Plastic bins simple & cheap KISS method.

I've had the same duffel bag for over 25 years and can fit everything in it. Gloves inside helmet, boots on the bottom and the bibs and jacket folded on top. I'm sure that I am not the only one to do this.

X2 on our bags lasting forever. I don't think any of ours have ever ripped or broken a zipper.

Then why bother to vote on it if the outcome doesn't matter?

problem with the totes is if you have anything that is sticking out a half an inch you can't clasp the tote tight.

Just information from JD members... never would bet the farm on any JD poll.lol I guess you are looking for a weighted poll response to mean correctness. I don't view JD polls as correctness or agreement just info nothing more nothing less. For me bags PITA always broke & reminded me too much of work travel & being a pack horse thru airports. For me plastic bins in trailer or truck easy cheap & effective. :)

You know I'm just messin with ya?;) What do I care what someone uses to move their stuff around.
But I am always surprised at the amount of energy and the tactics people use on here to get their opinions across. It usually starts with belittling any opinions that are different than theirs.

Well, I won't ride with anyone that stores their gear in a tote.

I'M KIDDING!! You can use a gunny sack or pillowcase, just don't be late when we're ready to ride.

Bought a "Milwaukee snow show special" over 25 years ago for around ten bucks. I don't think i've seen one this large(fieldsheer racing) there since and it holds my gear as well as my girlfriends gear.We usually leave the helmets out,but pretty sure they would fit too with a little work. This thing has worked/held-up well and you can't beat the price ! My buddy uses plastic totes and makes several trips into the cabin, but i make one trip and i'm done !!! To each there own.....

I really like the bag that True Adventure Gear has out. Built to take a beating. Boots are in seperate compartment. Just went to their site and gone???? Paid $40 money well spent. Got two. They work well at airport or chucked into truck. Tried totes but handles went quick in the cold.

I got mine at the Milwaukee snow show for $20.00. This is the big bag with the ends for the boots and helmet in any color. Now they are $25.00 at the show. Mine has lasted for 10 years and is still like new. You cant beat that price.

X2 bought mine at the snow show about 10 years ago. One end for boots, one end has a padded bag for a helmet. In the middle i put my pants, jacket, extra gloves, and boot dryer with room to spare!
