really tell that to the event centers /florists/catering corps/etc who have refused to host a gay wedding. most of those establishments are now under bankruptcy attempting to hold on to what little money they have left

Guess I've never heard of that, but I'm thinking that sexual orientation may fall onto the Sex aspect, of the three taboo Discriminations.

I like kittens.. they purr, but I think they're under 80 decibels. . Sorry guys, just trying to calm things down. I do have a question tho... this was my 11th year of my psychotic snowmobile infatuation and I haven't had the chance to ride a sled with a can on it. Do you guys get fatigued after a 200 mile day on the trails from the noise? Or is the sound behind you, like what my friends with Harleys say...

My 2 cents worth.

The difference between loud bikes & loud sleds: Those riding loud bikes don't have to deal with the landowners and the public for trail easements.

WI law on snowmobile sound levels:

The only exception to the sound laws are when you operate your snowmobile during a sanctioned race or you are dealer/manufacturer testing the snowmobile on your own land.

Noise limit--for every snowmobile manufactured on or after July2, 1975, the noise level standard for exhaust and engine noise shall be 88 decibels as measured in accordance with the procedures established for the measurement of exhaust sound levels of stationary snowmobiles in the January 2004 Society of Automotive Engineer Standards J2567.

You cannot modify your snowmobile's exhaust in any manner that will amplify or increase the total noise emission above that emitted by the snowmobile as originally manufactured, regardless of the date of manufacture.

Prob is no proof as no trail has been shutdown yet or recently. Calender will take care of that. Check back later.
