Awesome, thanks for the reports guys and gals! Heading up in the morning to break in the new Pro S for two days.
We have up to 6" of system snow today and snowing hard (LES) this evening.
Maybe we will see you out there 98. There will be three of us: 2 Switchbacks and a yellow and black honey bee.
Went for a quick solo ride on the yellow and black honey bee (woodside was at home moving the snow with his new toy! or maybe he was watching the Ellen Show cuz he's retired now!
FR's recovered nicely! and the trails will be freshly groomed for everyone to ride! C'mon up ... we still some openings at www.woodsidecottages.com
Will be looking for you 98. We normally get to the PubNGrub around 1:00.
Must have just missed you at the Pub. I was talking to two guys who come up from Solon Springs. Thought it was you.
A friend of mine rode one our sleds yesterday and he was sold. He was so impressed with the area and conditions, he bought a sled last night. Riding on top of 6" of fresh snow always helps! Now I have one more riding partner.
The groomer was panning the trails hoping to pack them down as its 6" of solid snow pack underneath the fresh snow. We broke trail on 90% of the FR's we rode.
Got a new phone and can't figure out how to post pictures. Maybe later today.
We are " supposed " to be coming up a week from Sunday. We are staying g in iron river, we typically like to ride north out of there. Are the trails in good enough shape to handle the warm up?
No worries - We've received 9" of fresh snow in the past week sitting on a hard base of 6 - 8". Nighttime lows will be dropping into the low-20s or teens, so conditions will remain good. FRs have plenty of snow to play in and, with the colder temps at night, the groomers should be out there all week long.
