Oh yea you have to be optimistic to be a bears fan.lol I can only take so much then reality sets in. I'm in wait till next year mode but can't stop watching Bears hoping they will get better with the D Rookies. Not seeing it so far but maybe Bostic or Greene will catch fire & have shown flashes to give me hope. They should play Ford at RB a bit too & let him run back kicks but don't. I like Bush but not getting that tuff 1 yard.....things just not working out this year.:(

Big win, defense is still pretty ugly, but they are still alive. We deperately need lance briggs out there to help the young guys and also do some tackling of his own. But coach glasses actually has that offense clicking and if i remember correctly thats why they hired him.

yea..have to admit pretty impressive..no punts, no bad decisions, few penalties... I think mccown stays on the field..although 2 shuld have been picked, he doesn't throw many bad passes..unlike our 6 pick jay...which team shows up sunday?

X2 only going as far as D will allow & Mccown does understand this O for sure. Interview after the game Marshall said the Bears want to dominate like the Saints on O which I thought was a good comparison. Ground D is really BAD!!

Yeah ground D is unbelievable. I've never seen anything like it. By far the worst product I've ever seen out of a bears D. Granite there are injuries but still some of these guys dont appear NFL caliber. I discovered who the worst player in the NFL is....chris conte's backup.

X2 Conte is asked to do a lot right now. I'm not at all sure Bostic & Greene are or will be ready for prime time just not getting better as season moves on. They are not rookie sensation players like Clay Mathews or AJ Hawk so will know what we have by next year. Too bad may be busts so hope 1 or other pans out.

Yeah conte is getting a lot of action, but the guy continues to completely wiff on open field tackles. That is what a safety needs to be good at. His coverage is terrible, he does nothing well that i can think of. As far a Bostic, I think he def has the skill set, but he mis-reads plays alot and over runs them constantly. Most of his mistakes should and i think can be corrected. Not sure he will ever be a pro-bowler but time will tell. People like Urlacher, Lewis, and patrick willis were insta-stars. Dont see him ever being that great as we all hoped. I think if briggs can come back though he will drastically help bostic, as bostic wont be calling the plays anymore and can lean on lance alot. This week should be a easy W, philly and there offense against our D is what worries me. If pack keep rodgers out that should also be a breeze at home. Lions WILL lose another game, mark my words, can us or pack win out?

Yes I was not happy with Conte either but then last night he had to come up & did tackle RBs so I felt better about him but game was already gone for Cowboys & running was working passing was not. The Eagles could run for 500 yards worries me too but 1 game at at time for North.....anything could happen at this point.:)
