>> Last UP trip I rode my 2-up Panther and most miles were off trails w deep powder and I did just fine.

SO any sled is good for off trail. Just always stop on a down slope.

I have the 06' Switchback 144" 600 HO and have been looking into what mods I can do for better deep snow riding. Here are some thoughts...

I assume the 2011 is a 136" so I'd look at putting a deeper jug track 1.75" or 2"

Put Polaris Gripper skis on if it doesn't already have them.

Remove the swaybar... I'm still researching this and wondering what affect this will have on-trail.

hey i read in the poo manual and there is a section on weight transfer during acceleration if you want the skis to wheelie a little more read up on that. it is a basic stopper for the rear suspenion and if you change it to the lowest setting it will bring the skis up more, i did it to mine and made a big difference. hope this helps you as well :)

And it needs to wheelie because.....??

really why? come on man cat walking off a covered brush pile.turning that 3 foot hump in to a 50 yard WFO tail drag busting 2ft of fresh the whole time, gets my heart fluttering just thinking about it.

and snow dance pull that sway bar ! they are nothing more than training wheels for people who like to ride sleds not people who like to drive there sleds.
I know alot of people will disagree but I will stand behind the no sway 100% when was the last time you saw a sno-x with a sway? why doy you want input from what the other ski is doing.once you take off the training wheels and get use to it you will never go back.

Sorry, Ezra, but you and I ride a little different I guess. You have a good time ridding your way and I have a good time my way and that's all that matters, right.

Back to the original question and what I am hearing what's going on in the UP on the trails I would suggest any sled will do as long as it has a full roll cage and a 911 speed dial button on the dash.
