Best Place to Mountain Ride

Hey guys,

We are thinking about taking a trip out west to do some mountain riding. Where should we go?

We would want onsite or very nearby rentals. We all ride newer polaris 800 or 600 144s so we'll want something like that, not 2008 fan cooled trail sleds.

Somewhere that is a short ride from the airport since most of us will be flying.

Should we get a guide? We are thinking of doing 3 days of riding.

We would like to keep cost low, but most important is good snow, good terrain, and a good time.

Thanks

If you want to save money, Colorado and extreme mentioned above by Ezra is the ticket. The drive is 13 hours to Denver and 16-17 to TML. If you have a truck and are renting more than one sled multiple days they supply you with a trailer for free.

why drive my last round trip from Minneapolis to Denver was $285 that is less than my share of the gas to WY.
then add the 2+ days off work driving what $800 there is your truck and sled rental
fly in early am fly out red eye

I agree with flying. I was just giving them a simple suggestion. And to some people driving is easier than going online buying airline tickets, renting cars etc. Personally, I like to plan everything turn it into a game of saving money. That way a guy can splurge time to time or take another trip.
