Best Sledding Boots/light, warm resonably priced?

Good post but you might want to define "reasonably priced" everything I see starts about $190 & goes up from there.

I've responded to posts on this topic, and stick with the same, Irish Setter has super boots for the price, different insulation weights,
waterproof, lightweight, I love mine, have a couple pair for different weather.

Avoid boots that are supposedly meant for snowmobiling, and go for something meant for ice fishing. You'll spend money much more wisely at Gander Mtn or Cabelas. Heck the best boots I've ever had were from Farm and Fleet for under $100.

Sorels from farm and fleet. I think I paid 60 bucks 10 years ago. Just replaced my Baffin work pack boot,20 years old? Sorrels ,good for -80, $90 at farm and fleet. You can't go wrong with Baffin,Lacrosse ,or Sorrels . I'm not one to be hooking up with a sled model,I simply stay warm.

Little worn out & too bulky heavy
When walking. I was at the snowshow
I'm milwaukee last night(wow what a turn
Out, the place was packed). I really
Liked the fxr no shoe string boots for
$199 has the wire tightener guaranteed for

FXR is good stuff & available at a lot of snomo dealers the wire tightener is trick & I would want that too. For me no Drings or hooks will cut up your sled seat when you swing your leg across almost always happens so wire or buckles best.

I'd like to get the BOA lace system on my next boots too! I've been using those on my golf shoes for years now and I love them!!

it also depends what kind of riding you do. many of the snowcrossy boots are meant for active riding vs touring riding. look for the coldness rating, its a fictitious number but can be used to compare different model boots. -40 is fairly common but some are rated colder down to -148. ive liked all my Baffin -90 and -148 boots, however i use them for riding and standing out at the Derby, not walking far, but they are OK for walking that i do....

I just picked up some MotorFist Redline boots, have not used them yet but so far very happy with the quality. Klim, MotorFist, FXR, etc all make good products but as others have said in snowmobiling you generally get what you pay for. This year I splurged and purchased all new gear (Motorfist) it cost me a small fortune but expect to last and stay warm and dry. I previously used Baffin boots, they were okay, lasted me about 3 years, last year they split down the side didn't even realize it until I went riding and felt snow on my foot.
