Well I have been known to powerwash off a few decals so don't do that anymore.lol I'm thinking you want to remove a factory decal as graphics may be too busy for ya. We did that on all our doos in early 2000s just too much going on so took a hair dryer heated up decals came right off.
Wife, girlfriend or mom's hairdryer. Works 100% of the time. After you've got them off, dab a bit of gas on a rag to use for removing the residue, then buff it up. = no out of pocket expense......
If its not too old a sled it will just peel off with nothing in this warm weather!
or a little hairdryer like Kris said!
goof off will take off any glue residue like buddar!
