Bear saw this wolf get hit by a car and killed after jumping off a snow bank and slipping on the ice. He was traveling with another wolf. This happened near Duck Creek in Watersmeet. Not far from us.

Looks like a nice warm hat and pair of mittens or two.

They are beautiful animals though.

Wait...just want to check but that officer (no disrespect meant) isn't 3 ft tall is he?

Oh yeah Mrs RB I have seen the giants lopeing thru the snow on unplowed Frs off 107 up there but did not post anything didn't want to scare anyone. I had jerky in bags so stopped & watched then realized how stupid I was & hit the hammer. There is a pack in there & yes they are HUGE!

Anyone who spends any time at all in the U.P. see these along the road all the time. With over a thousand of these animals roaming around the U.P. it is inevitable that one will cross your path somewhere some time. You can also hear them at night communicating with each other. Once you see one there is no mistaking it for a coyote they are that big. And yes they love eating deer...but will eat whatever they come across. While I don't fear them, obviously you need to know that they exist and are very healthy.
