I got an e-mail from Sandy Krupp today. She got a call from a gentleman from Tivola. He had seen a picture of Boonie and said it was one of his wife's dogs that was lost a couple weeks ago while she was training them for bear hunting. Sandy gave me their phone number so I could call them. I talked to the lady and she was so glad that we found the dog. She had searched for a few days but figured either the wolves or the coyotes got a hold of her.

I asked if she wanted the dog back and told her I'd be more than happy to return the dog. She asked me if she was in a good home, of course I had to say yes. She told me to keep the dog. :) She was very appreciative for calling her and letting her know. She told me boonies name was Lucile(spl) and she was born sept 2

There needs to be more people in this world like you Ridesafe. Enjoy your new best friend, I know Boonie will. Now all you have to do is setup a passenger seat for her on that M. I am sure she has the itch from that 3 mile ride out.

Hey, I guess that makes me as special as Boonie, aka Lucille, since we share the same special day!

Seriously though -- it's a great story and I'm glad it worked out the way it did. Sounds like everybody wins!
