I had a 01 mxz800 I stretched to a 136, went through 3 of them snapped them right in half. I found my problem that I was running my track too tight? last time as loose as I could go with out ratcheting and no more problems

My zr was also stretched to a 136. Blew bearing on chaincase side, had new bearing put in and 150 miles whenthe drive shaft snapped. The new drive shaft was put in today and ready to go. Think I make sure track is not too tight.

Yep broke mine and my buddy broke his after extending to 136" both were Polaris both M-10's track tension was the cause, bearings were still good but replaced them anyway shaft broke right in the middle, run'em loose

Yep, 99 cat 800 triple and 00 1000triple, both with 136" track. Snapped drive shaft off in chain case at the bearing on both. No bearing issues, just torque . Replaced with different style each time.
